Hamish Rosser has posted photos on Instagram of himself behind the drum kit at Rockinghorse Studios, soundtracked with 'Jamola' by The Vines and captioned “Studio sesh.” He also shared a story from studio, with 'Autumn Shade II' as background music, likely hinting that new music from the band is currently in the works. In a recent interview, Hamish Rosser said: "There's some new music in the works. I can't wait to get it out. It just sort of needs to be finalised and then work out what the best way to release it is." He also revealed that there will be an "Autum Shade 5" on the upcoming new album by The Vines. Two unreleased versions of songs by The Vines from over 20 years ago have been uncovered: a demo of "Vision Valley" and a rare studio version of "Factory" featuring David Olliffe on drums, which was later re-recorded with Pete Tomas for the album release.
