Patrick Matthews: It was a bit of toss-up whether we were even going to record this one. We had a list of 17 songs that we were going to record, and even when we went into the studio we were unsure about this one. It's got a really cool groove to it, though. (NME, May 2002)
Michael Olliffe: "Sunshinin'" clearly benefited from Schnapf's input. "Sunshinin'" takes the driving, grinding rock of the original and polishes it up with a funkier and poppier strut. The bass is buoyed with a bouncy, funk groove, and the performances were clearly outstanding. Craig’s guitar work and layering of guitar tracks basically renders the tune nearly impossible to replicate effectively in a live context. (the-vines.net, 2001-2002)
Sunshinin'
Rain's drivin'
Don't wanna believe in the saints comin'
Don't try'n
Fool my head
The weather can be any place I am
Gone oh yeah
Gone yeah
Drug buyin'
Fake lightin'
Don't wanna believe in the way I am
Don't try'n
Fool my head
The weather for me are the birds flyin'
Home oh yeah
Home yeah
coming soon
coming soon
